Road

Walking through woods at night my battery illuminates the road and trees. Seemingly simple action is the performance of the camera. My performance is limited by the length of exposure for so step left is shown as a dark line in the midst of illuminated road surface. Without the photos, my work would have been invisible and disappeared like a flashlight into nothingness. Like a lamp, the camera allows me to see the path and the trees, and a camera with a long exposure records my walk and turns the whole thing into one image, which summarizes the flash light on the road and the illumination of the nearby town.
